Restarting for spring and this blog is the perfect way to start! Came across a great resource for marketing and Etsy. Her name Tara and this is her site. The podcasts are spot on! There is even a book.

With the Winter storms we have had blowing through the "heart of Dixie" the last few weeks  I feel it is time for Spring!

Etsy Front Page!

Hi! Just wanted to share some good information with you. If you ever want to see if you are in an Etsy Treasury check out http://www.craftopolis.com/. Type in your shop name and it is all there for you. Another great resource is http://www.craftcult.com/. Go there to see hearts for items and your store and today I found something called The Vault! Incredible!! Type in your shop name and it will show you if you made the front page and who created it! (There is even an area where you can make a widget for your blog.) The kind people at Etsy showcased my ribbon colored pencils last Summer and I had no idea!! Take Care, Kristine

Orders Out!

Two orders are being posted today from Beach Cottage Studio. There was a custom Holiday order of paper butterflies which was so much fun to create. The other order was 6 journal notebooks and 4 ribbon bookmarks all going to a very cute bookstore in NC.

I will be busy getting some new ideas put into motion over the next few days. Two treasuries today and a sale! Great day indeed!!

New Bookmarks!

What can I say?! The muse was close at hand in the studio today and bookmarks in a wide variety of colors was the result! Notebooks tomorrow!! Happy Halloween :-)

New Notebook - Florence

Oh to be in Florence, Italy again! I just love the inside covers of this notebook. Very cool brown velvet paper in a scrolling leaf pattern.

400 Hearts!

Today marks a great milestone of 4oo hearts at Beach Cottage Studio. In a great twist of fate she is only about 15 miles away and also a member of South Carolina Etsy Team or TeamSC!! Very cool. Make sure to check out SimplyCharmingSC on Etsy :-)

Too much fun!

The craft show was uber fun and great to see what people are interested in. Over time there will be a shift in my Etsy shop to showcase some new ideas. Beach Cottage Studio has done very well for the month of October to raise money for the Komen Foundation. The butterfly switch plate and plug cover sold along with a set of paper flowers! Treasury Pop!!

Great news come over the weekend that a craft show is being held at the Club House and there is an extra table! I will be taking all of the items that I have from the Etsy site to the show on October 26th. Very exciting!!

Also scored a really cool treasury tonight...things are looking up for all the Holiday shopping :-)
