Ribbon bookmarks were fun today. Also in the works are more composition notebooks, 12 days of Christmas tags, red crown with writing tags, butterflies on wire, groups of butterflies, flowers on wire and a few more things!

Here are some ideas for a wonderful client who wanted to embellish some 2009 planners for her online shop. They are so wonderfully lux that you have to see it believe it! Even got a "wow" from my dearest this morning!!

The show is about to start!

It has been a busy weekend with the butterflies on the floral wire flying out the door! I was really shocked and love it when a new idea tickles the fancy of someone else too. I am also working on a custom order which is really fun and I will post some pictures in the morning :-)

Orders Out!

Two orders are being posted today from Beach Cottage Studio. There was a custom Holiday order of paper butterflies which was so much fun to create. The other order was 6 journal notebooks and 4 ribbon bookmarks all going to a very cute bookstore in NC.

Trend

I love the huge peacocks that they have at Middleton Plantation here in Charleston. Gorgeous!! There is a trend for Fall this year and it is the colors of this great bird. Some colors are turquoise, royal blue, brown, gold, purple and jade green. You will see this theme start to pop up all over the place.

Big Day!

The sun is out and it feels like Fall in the South! Last week was CHILLY!! I had a custom order for something that I had not thought of before and that was Holiday butterflies. Very cool and fun to design!

There was a big order for my collage notebooks also today and I am thrilled! I will schedule to spend some time in the studio working on new designs.

Great Inspiration
