That's A Wrap 2009!
Thank you so much for all your support and kind words over the last year! I really appreciate every comment and little tidbit that you have left for me to read. Every one of you have super inspiring blogs, websites and online shops that it is endless fun to check it all out!
From my heart I hope that you have Happy Holidays and a wonderful and bright New Year! For now I am signing off and will return in 2010. My last project of the year was to decorate these planners that you can find here (Petite Bookstore) if you are interested in a daily calendar that has a bit of handmade to it!
Take Care! ~Kristine

Turquoise is the color of 2010
One of the blogs I love is Colour me Happy. She posted a great little tidbit about the new Pantone color for 2010. The background and history of this color is really interesting! My studio has turquoise on the walls with a white ceiling. It is the bonus room over the garage so there are slanted walls that go up to the ceiling. In the South they call this the FROG = Finished Room Over Garage. (Well that took awhile to get use to saying!) "My studio is in the FROG Mom" and her response was "What is in that sweet tea you are having?" Have a great weekend! ~Kristine

Wikipedia Forever!
Wikipedia is a wonderful information bank about everything! They are one of the top 5 websites visited daily with only 35 employees. Wow!! They have information for almost every language under the sun. They are nonprofit and are looking to raise 7.5 million dollars and so far have 2.5 million. I donated today and hope that you will too. Go check it out!! It is amazing. ~Kristine

Creative Impulse
Congrats to my friend Melissa who is featured in Stampington & Co. Creative Impulse newsletter!! She has an Etsy shop too, MDKM Artz, and has a dream job working at Stampington in California. Lucky her!! She ships inside the US and to Canada! I adore these bird nest necklaces and I hope I have been good enough for Santa to put one under the tree for me this year. (Love the ivory pearls one)~Kristine

Grab Bag
When I was a small girl I thought it was the coolest to get a grab bag from my favorite shop. Usually it was a paper lunch sack with lot's of little goodies inside. Oh the thrill of not know what you are getting but knowing it was from your favorite store.
Earlier, I had a request for some custom items out of my shop. This is the collection that I put together for a client in Canada. It is my twist on the grab bag idea but the plus side is that you know what you are getting! ~Kristine
